Yesterday, I ran across this Guardian UK piece in which they summarize the top five regrets of the dying, as recorded by a palliative nurse. It really got me thinking, and stimulated some interesting dialogue with some friends. I was a little surprised that it included such basic things, things I personally have no issues with – regrets like “I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings”. But sure enough, one of my likely deathbed regrets was right there at number two.
What about you? If your life ended today, what would be your one regret?
